Surgical Robotic Accessories

At Noah Medical, I led the mechanical development of robotic system accessories that improved procedural precision, usability, and device stability across the company’s next-generation surgical platform.

Key Contributions:

  • Prototyped and tested critical system accessories, including a multi-lumen catheter assembly, stabilizing clamp, alignment and positioning fixture and drapes.

  • Developed benchtop and cadaver test protocols and fixtures to quantify surgical forces and engineering characterization, translating data into product requirements, DFMEA updates and engineering decisions.

  • Collaborated cross-functionally with Clinical Engineering, Industrial Design, and Manufacturing teams to refine usability, reliability, and manufacturability of all assemblies through rapid prototype iteration.

  • Managed multiple vendors for prototype and production manufacturing of parts and assemblies.
