At We Scissor, I led the mechanical design and development of a silicone-overmolded consumer wellness device, guiding a non-technical founder through the full product realization process from requirements definition and prototyping through vendor handoff for production.

Key Contributions:

• Defined product and engineering requirements to balance usability, manufacturability, and cost under startup constraints.

• Built functional prototypes combining 3D-printed molds, cast silicone, and integrated electronics to enable rapid iteration and early user testing.

• Partnered with a manufacturing vendor to transition from works-like/looks-like prototypes to a scalable, overmolded production design with internal injection molded housing, electronics, and bending arms.
